Our molds are made of PLA. PLA stands for Polyactic Acid and is a thermoplastic polymers in that it is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane.

Pick-up is available for residents. Please choose pick-up as your option and we will make pick-up arrangements with you via messaging or email once your order is ready.

What are your Shipping Policies
  • All Canadian packages will have tracking information provided to you upon shipping.  You will receive a notification via email or SMS depending on your account options. 
  • For packages shipped outside of Canada, to the USA or International, please ensure you select tracking / insurance at check out.  If you do not select the tracking option, are not insured if they are lost.  We will only replace packages that have tracking & insurance on the packages. 
  • Selecting faster shipping options does not mean that you will jump the printing queue, it will only mean that once your package is shipped, it will reach you faster.  To jump the printing queue, please select Rush Processing on the website. 
  • Custom import and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.  We are not responsible for any custom delays. 
  • Once a package leaves our facility, we have no control over it's movement. 
  • We are NOT responsible for packages that are stolen by porch pirates. We will file a claim with Canada Post on your behalf but we will not re-ship your order.
  • We reserve the right to send a customer an invoice for additional shipping costs if the order is multiple boxes or overweight.
How long does it take to make a mold and ship?

How long does it take to package and ship colorants, packaging and other in stock items? 

In stock items are packaged and shipped usually within 72 hours, unless a national Holiday is within that time then it can take an extra day.  Sales will have an affect on this shipping timeline as well.  During sales non-3D orders can take up to 10 days.

What if I receive the wrong product?
 

Firstly, we apologize.  Mistakes happen.  We are human.  Secondly, please reach out to us with 7 days of the confirmed delivery date.  The delivery date used will be the one on the courier / post website.  Emails can be sent to btmyyc.info@gmail.com.  Include your order number, the item(s) you ordered, and what you received instead. Include photos of the items(s) and the packing slip. All of this will help us expedite and resolve the situation. 

Once we receive the email, please give us 3 days to look into the issue / concern. 

We may request the incorrect product(s) be returned to us and will email you a return label with instructions. If a return label is emailed to you, please return the incorrect product(s) within seven (7) days after receipt of the return label or you may be charged.

Items must be unused and undamaged in order to qualify.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept used, opened, or broken products due to health and safety reasons

If we confirm the shipment of the incorrect product(s), we will contact you on how to proceed. Your options include:

  • Request a refund, or
  • Ship the correct item(s) via our Standard shipping method. 

Can I combine orders?

Possibly, if your order was placed a while ago contact BTM with your name (as written in your account) and the order number to confirm it is not about to ship. If your order is recent, like during a multi day sale, no need to contact us first just follow these steps: 1-Please add the combine option to your cart. 2-In the comments state which order number, it should be combined with. 3-At checkout select pick-up.

If I combine orders do I need to pay shipping again?

No, select pick-up at checkout as to not be charged for shipping. However, if the combined shipping cost is more than what was paid the surplus will be invoiced. Please make sure to have added the combine option to your cart as well as indicate in the comments which order it must be combined with. 

What are your payment options?
 

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) through Shopify Payments. We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopify Pay, and Sezzle (4 interest free payments). As well as Email Money Transfer..

How do I use a gift card and a discount code?

Contact BTM so that we may assist you. 

Can I use my HBBG discount or redeem points during a sale?

No, the set-up on our website does not allow multiple discounts to be applied. 

Can I redeem points or use my HBBG discount on pre-buys and subscription box?

No, these are already highly discounted, and we cannot afford to discount the subscription boxes further. If one is used it will be canceled and an invoice will be sent to you. 

How do I redeem points?

Log into your account. Press the Rewards icon at the bottom right of the screen. Press the redeem icon next to the reward you want to redeem. If no redeem icon is next to the reward, you have not yet accumulated enough points to redeem it. After pressing the redeem icon, a code will appear as well as an option to copy this code. An email will also be sent to the email registered in your account with the discount code. Then to use the discount code, proceed with checkout as usual but at payment enter the code where it says, “Gift car or discount code”.

What are your molds made of & why are they so strong?

Our molds are made of PLA. PLA stands for Polyactic Acid and is a thermoplastic polymers in that it is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane.
 
We use a honeycomb infill in our molds. Did you know that items like racing car shells, jets, helicopters, snowboards, and even rockets use the honeycomb weave? Do you know why? Because they have high "specific strength". What is that? Well as per Wikipedia Specific Strength is defined as "The specific strength is a material's strength (force per unit area at failure) divided by its density. It is also known as the strength-to-weight ratio or strength/weight ratio." This makes them perfect to help hold up under the pressure of the pneumatic or electric presses.
 
Printing Defects
Sometimes there might be slight discoloration, or a slight printing defect. This will not affect the performance of the molds.
 
Do you make Custom Molds?
 

100% Just pop us a message and we will work with you to create your design. Custom molds are defined as molds of a logo or a design too specific for mass sale. Custom molds require you to pay for the design fee, the mold and if necessary, shipping.  For a standard size Hand Molds, the cost is 80$. For a standard size Hybrid mold, the cost is 65$. For a standard size vacuum mold, the cost is 35$.

If you have an idea for a mold but it is not your logo or too specific for mass sale, message us and we will work with you to create your design. As we will add this mold to our catalogue we will wave the design fee, you will be charged for the mold and shipping, if needed.

Refund & Cancellation Policies
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  We do not offer refunds or cancellations on any orders. If you have any issues with any item, please contact us directly, and we will work with you.  If you have any quality issues, please contact us directly.  Molds are considered a specialty item, and as such cannot be returned.  For sanitary reasons including allergies to pets and scents, molds cannot be returned and resold.  We do not offer product exchanges for this reason as well.
Warranty Policy
All of our molds are under warranty for 1 year as long as they are used as intended for normal use.  Shipping is on us if item is received and defective, and up to 6 months, at standard shipping.  If customer would like express shipping, they must pay the difference between standard shipping and the express shipping  Anything over 6 months the buyer pays shipping.  
How do you use a bath bomb Hand Mold (3d mold)?
 

To use:  Place the bottom plate inside the sleeve of the mold. Add your bath bomb mixture.  We recommend weighing it so you can make the same size bomb each time. Place the top plate on top, and then simply press down hard. Tap all around your mold. You can either push the top and bottom piece out of the sleeve by hand, and then unmolds, or you can use the plunger to push the pieces out. Wipe away any mixture on the inside of the pieces before making the next bath bomb.

How do you use a vacuum mold?

To use: Add a little mix at the bottom of the mold then press into the details. Lightly fill with mix, create a fluffy mountain, and press it into the mold. Using a solid tool with a straight edge like a soap cutter, butter knife or whatever you have on hand, scrape the mold so the back is completely flat and leveled. Turn or smack the mold unto your unmolding space, massage the mold and lightly pull on the corners of the mold to help break the suction. Lift the mold off, if difficult tap the mold while lifting.

To use: Add a little mix at the bottom of the mold then press into the details. Lightly fill with mix, create a fluffy mountain, and press it into the mold. Turn or smack the mold unto your unmolding space, tap the sides and bottom of the mold to help break the suction. Lift the mold off, if difficult tap the mold while lifting.

How should you clean your molds?

Cleaning your mold is as easy as rinsing under cool water, and towel dry. Never soak your molds as they can retain water. Do not place your molds in the dishwasher. PLA is susceptible to heat, so please do not use warm or hot water.
